I come from “news” where you have one crack at getting it right and only minutes to “get it done”. Now the skills of brevity, accuracy and speed help me to keep “The Story” focused and sharp. I love writing for TV – the images do the heavy lifting and my job is to string the pictures and clips together to make the most compelling story possible. But in the end it is the story that wins.
