Want to learn patience and perseverance? Grow wine!

I started down this road 17 years ago when I planted my first grapevines. To make good wine you must “commit”. Commit to growing quality grapes. Commit to nurturing the fermentation process. And then you need the patience to wait long enough for the wine to mature. And all of this is for nothing if it’s not shared by friends. The wine is a snap shot of the year, a moment in time, a story from the vineyard. Wine making brings out the best in me.
